About the tour
We organize a 5-day trip to visit the Kirindy Forest and the Avenue of the Baobabs. The journey starts in Antananarivo, passing through Antsirabe, Miandrivazo, and Morondava. The Avenue of the Baobabs is one of Madagascar's most famous landmarks. The Kirindy Reserve is a beautiful place to observe wildlife and the dry region. The stars of this park are the fossa, lemurs, and male baobabs. The tour involves long car rides to avoid taking internal flights. However, the stunning scenery will make the journey less tiring, and you can take occasional breaks along the way.

ANTANANARIVO - MIANDRIVAZO
In the morning, after breakfast, departure south along the famous RN7. The journey takes you through the Malagasy highlands, characterized by rice fields and typical villages with houses made of red bricks, matching the color of the earth. Arrival in Antsirabe just in time for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we continue to Miandrivazo, a small town on the banks of the Tsiribihina River. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

MIANDRIVAZO - KIRINDY
After breakfast, we leave Miandrivazo and head towards Morondava, the city overlooking the Mozambique Channel. After lunch, we take the road to Kirindy, passing through the famous Avenue of the Baobabs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

KIRINDY - MORONDAVA
In the morning, the day is dedicated to exploring the Kirindy Forest, a unique dry forest where we will admire numerous species of baobabs and lemurs. In the afternoon, we return to Morondava, stopping to admire the "Lover Baobabs," and arrive at the magical moment of sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

MORONDAVA - ANTSIRABE
Departure in the morning after breakfast towards Antsirabe, following the same route. Stop in Miandrivazo for lunch, arriving in Antsirabe in the evening.

Departure for Antananarivo on the last day of the trip to catch the international flight or the domestic flight to Nosy Be.
