A plausible witness to the drift of the continents, this rock landscape is one of the most beautiful in Madagascar, dating back to the Jurassic period with its gorges sculpted over generations by deep canyons, such as the Maki Canyon and the Topi Canyon, creating strange and unique settings. Numerous hikes are available in Isalo, also known by the Malagasy as the "Malagasy Colorado", which can be pedestrian or easily interpreted. Lunch will be provided during the hike, and after lunch, you can take a dip in the three stunning natural pools. In the late afternoon, meet at the "Window of Isalo" for a breathtaking sunset view from this unusual rock formation.
