  Domestic flight

  Arrival by domestic flight in Morondava, with a stop to admire the Lover Baobabs, followed by the magical sunset at the Avenue of the Baobabs. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  MORONDAVA- MANJA

  After breakfast, we continue on the challenging trail, crossing numerous fords and rivers as we head south towards Manja, a small transit town that remains largely undeveloped. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  MANJA- MANGILY

  After breakfast, we continue south towards Mangily, traveling on the paved road and crossing the Mangoky River by motorized ferry. After three hours of travel, we arrive in Mangily for lunch. In the afternoon, we visit the baobab forest and the dry spiny forest of the southwest. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  MANGILY – ISALO

  After breakfast, we leave the coast to return to the interior of Madagascar along the famous RN7. We stop to visit the open-pit sapphire mines in Ilakaka. We arrive in Isalo in the early afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  Day dedicated to visiting Isalo National Park, a park characterized by mountains with a landscape unlike any other area of the island. The park features large rock formations shaped by erosion, creating what is often referred to as Madagascar’s own “Grand Canyon.” You will have the opportunity to swim in the three stunning natural pools. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel. Breakfast.

  The day is dedicated to exploring Isalo National Park through the magnificent Namazaha circuit, with a stop at the natural pool formed by a small stream flowing from the rocks, surrounded by aquatic plants like Pandanus and lush palm trees (5-6 hours of trekking). The flora and fauna are enchanting. Nature could not have chosen a better place than Isalo to celebrate the majesty and richness of Madagascar’s landscapes, a plausible witness to continental drift. This rocky landscape is one of Madagascar’s most beautiful, dating back to the Jurassic period, with canyons sculpted over generations, such as the Canyon of the Maki and the Canyon of the Rats, which create strange and fascinating settings. Numerous gatherings in Isalo, nicknamed by locals as the "Malagasy Colorado", are organized and can be either on foot or easily accessible. Lunch during the excursion.   ISALO- RANOMAFANA

  After breakfast, depart for the Ranomafana rainforest, with a stop to visit the splendid Anja Park, a community-managed park located at the base of three massive rock formations that are home to a population of ring-tailed lemurs. A brief visit to the town of Ambalavao, famous for the artisanal production of Antaimoro paper, made from the bark of the Avoha tree (papyrus), which is macerated, worked, and decorated with natural flowers. Ambalavao is also known for the famous "Zebu Market", held every Wednesday, the largest livestock market in Madagascar. We arrive in Ranomafana in the afternoon. In the evening, visit the park to observe nocturnal lemurs and chameleons. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

  RANOMAFANA- AMBOSITRA

  In the morning, the day is dedicated to visiting the Ranomafana rainforest, rich in vegetation and various species of lemurs. A 3-hour walk will allow you to observe some endemic plants in the park. In the afternoon, we reach the town of Ambositra and visit artisan workshops specializing in woodcraft. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
